The South Africa Lymphatic & Venous Society (SALVS) was established as a non-profit company in July 2020.
The objective of SALVS is to further education of vascular surgeons, trainees, lymphatic therapists, nursing sisters and other interested parties through ongoing CPD opportunities.
The society will act in an advisory capacity to funders, industry, associates, and government on subject matters relating to lymphatic and venous disorders by the publishing of guidelines, position statements, and letters of support to further evidence based clinical care.
